Hello @Samuelllv,
That is very frustrating, this does appear to have some permanence. I did look at street view.
It does look like this is a residential community. Out of curiosity, are these single family homes next to this? Or are they larger shared living with units for many people to live?
Editing to add that you get 2 appeals every 20 days. So you may be able to appeal this soon.
i didn’t know about that appeal information. ty
yes, mostly of the buildings are single family homes. The big green housing across the street is a exception, lives 3 families.
and extra info if you notices on the street the two circular paintings… they are part of the field to play the game that i mentioned “malha” and here it is a video of a news report about the game and how it is played.
ty for yout attention
Thank you for including the YouTube. That is really cool.
But I have concerns about the location of this even if it is permanent.
- the painted sidewalks are mainly adjacent to Single Family Private Residential Property (SFPRP). So you may have some issues with that.
- The game paint itself is in the street. This will fail because it is not safe for pedestrians.
If you have locations that look more like the video - a place set aside and not on the street, I think it would be more easily accepted.
Again thank you for introducing me to this

Hello @Samuelllv
This is really cool.
You can either wait to appeal or resubmit.
In the U.K. there would be no issue about these being on the public pavement.
I would focus on the painting on the pavement not on the road. So make sure the pin position is on the pavement to avoid any safety concerns.
Any information about its origin and in supplementary make sure there are links to back it all up.
The core of the above points would also form the basis of an appeal.
Good luck I hope it makes it.

I don’t think I will ever get used to the US interpretation of private property

This looks fantastic, and as already mentioned, would in no way be an ineligible location in the UK.
It looks like its been designed as a place to meet up and play together, so its clearly meeting the “great place to be social” criteria and its a safe place that isn’t in someone’s own garden. So it looks good to me
I think you can maybe focus the picture differently to give reviewers a better idea of how vibrant the patterns are. Your current image has some shadow on it and maybe that confused reviewers? There is also a dog in the picture and reviewers sometimes reject for animals in shot, even though the rejection is supposed to be for people submitting the animal
Maybe try taking some pictures outside of the game at different angles and try to find the best one, then use that. I think if reviewers see the main picture and say “wow, cool!” then they are less likely to use the rejection they chose
Good luck!!
Welcome @Samuelllv !
Looks fantastic to me and would definitely be accepted in Oz.
To me it is the same as a public jumbo chess set, hopscotch etc and these get approved all the time.
Maybe resubmit taking the advice above and stressing the permanent nature of the installation. eg) “Permanent Public Game Installation”
Good luck!!
I will be interested to hear how you go with it

Yes, we have those here in the UK too and they tend to be accepted easily.
Hopefully this can be as well
you know. It would probably have passed as street art had you nominated it as just that,
Weird. I like it. Love learning new things Thank you for sharing
Good luck

I’m glad you stuck with it.
The appeals are there because sometimes the community gets it wrong.
So glad this worked out
On to the next one…
