Apparently Emily doesn’t like picnic areas. I took three or so photos of them, and she rejected all three. Does anyone have any examples to show me? If it helps, I’m from Milan, Italy. I don’t know if Emily differentiates what’s right from what’s wrong based on the location I’m writing this for. Also, I’m preemptively writing that a picnic area, if you look it up in the dictionary, at least in Italian, is an outdoor table or tables, sometimes with a barbecue, for a quiet meal. Any suggestions on how to dissuade Emily, who doesn’t seem to like these requests?
I have not observed any country bias in Emily ( the auto assessment system) decisions.
I have had picnic areas rejected too. So I think it’s a case of try your best on the submission but as things stand there seems to be a high chance of an Emily rejection and the need for appeal.
Hi @sandrucci54
I can show you some of my examples from last summer:
Approved by community voting.
When I compare our nominations than I think that on mine are a bit more context to make it a little scenery while yours strongly focusses the table. And sunshine ![]()
I was also denied, but some Wayfinders believe this is commonplace and inappropriate,
though I think it’s appropriate as a community area.
I believe things that represent the community are appropriate even if they are commonplace.
