Same. Emily reject my nomination eventhough its visible from street view.

I am appealing it now. Looks like we gonna nd to optimize those 20days cooldown.

Anyway. Dont be discouraged with emily rejection. Emily is there for a reason. It help filter so many nomination so there will be less backlog. Its just some of the eligible nomination sometimes got caught along with it.

Oh i dont mind emily, i used to like her a lot more when she auto accepted my easy submissions lol, tbh, i doubt mine will pass, was 50/50 at best

Dont worry, its not just Emily! Ordinary reviewers rejected a picnic area for me recently despite it being visible on satellite, for being temporary and not distinct

Wich is why emily thinks it should reject them

Emily should learn a lot more from appeals. If picnic tables regularly go through appeals, or emily decisions on those get successfully appealed all the time, emily should just neglect community decisions and go with what the staff decides.

Also, in my opinion, every time an appeal goes through, there should be an educational email to every user who rejected that wayspot.

Not as a punishment, not with a warning, just with an information that a community decision they contributed to has been appealed successfully.

Also agreements should be retroactively removed (or added) when appeals happen (not sure if thats happening, but it should).

In my opinion, more feedback on reviewing behaviour would be great, because you’re mostly in the dark if your decisions where accurate or not outside of wayfarer rating.

A few things I’ve noticed.
There’s no sign to indicate that this bench is from a park. I don’t think park benches are acceptable as a pokemon stop.

Picnic benches are a great place to be social and can definitely be accepted. Benches can also be accepted for other reasons for example at a scenic lookout. They don’t have to be at a park necessarily although often are.

Oh I didn’t know. I have a rustic old bench and that’s down the street from me wasn’t sure if this would be acceptable?

What the area surrounding it?

That white line you see is where it’s pedestrian safe access.
It’s not on private property. It’s a nice bench where people who are walking by can sit and enjoy the nature. If its not excepted that’s okay. I was just wondering.

… its in a park, its on google maps as springburn park

Yep. Dunno if it’s the AI or just bad reviewers, but it looks like I’ll have to take my chances with the appeals team again.

Wayfarer critieria means ai

The bench looks fairly standard.
What is that area where the bench? Is there anything special there?

the only thing around that area is the Saint Mark Catholic Church but it’s behind it but you’d have to walk up that hill that’s near the bench. Nothing else that’s on that block. But if it doesn’t look like it could work as a pokemon stop It’s okay.

Thanks. yes that wouldn’t work.

Update, passed appeal

@gazzas89 & @TjoeMi how long did your appeals take from submission to decision?
