I need some opinions about these nominations that have been rejected. I will appeal them later when I have appeals avaible, but until then I would like thoughts on these.
if I came across these to review, my thoughts would be:
is there any evidence showing it exists there, at that location? Does the museum/building have a website which includes this as one of its exhibitions? Balance of probabilities works in your favour, but evidence is helpful because of the following.
are there several of these information boards already in the game (because with too many close together they start to become indistinct) ?
Do the exhibits themselves have Wayspots? If so, I would most likely mark the signs as duplicates of the exhibit, as the sign is a part of the exhibit, not separate from them.
Think of it this way: you may find a statue in a public area, like a plaza, with a plaque that has the title of the work and the artist’s name on it, as well as some additional info. I’d submit the statue as a whole, not both the statue and the plaque are separate POIs.
As for other wayspots, not much, just 2 things that are outside the exhibit and are not part of it. That’s why I thought that maybe these information signs could bring more attention to the actual exhibit.
Hi @AMG7070
If I’d have that in review I’d probably have doubts of it’s permanence. I think you should adress that in your nomination and that Expo is part of the name.
My first impression would be something like “New exhibition in town. Join from Oct 25 to Jan 26”.
