I have the same issue with every each nomination what I am doing. All the time they are not accepted and I can not even appeal it, what is ridiculous. Street art/statues are not accepted but community accepting shitty stickers at bench what is literally stupid and non sense to even try to do something as it’s just wasting my own time.

None authorised “Street Art” or “Graffiti” is not eligible.
You should not use what is in the game as evidence of what is allowed now. Criteria has changed and some got through when they shouldn’t. If reported these will be removed.
I literally done like 4/5 of those and my partner submitted another 2. The story behind is:
The “story” behind the insects on the lamppost at Great Linford, Milton Keynes, is tied to a public art project called ROCLA, which celebrates the area’s local flora and the insects that interact with it. The artwork features three large leaf structures, each representing a different stage of growth, with cut-out flower forms and colored insects attached to them. The insects are meant to symbolize the biodiversity of the area and the important role insects play in pollination and the local ecosystem.

Totally different to the Street Art I was expecting 
Are they being Rejected around 24 hours after submitting? If so this will be Niantics AI system (known as ML or Emily).
I would then assume that it is only seeing a pole and not the art.
You may appeal which will then be seen by a human from the Niantic team (you get 2 which will return after 15 days).
Alternatively, Re-submit. I suggest zooming in on the art.

This should split the topic.
I am sure they did not have a lot of art like this to work with in training the Machine Learning (ML) model, which is the “automated process” rejecting your nomination. To help it decide that this might be something eligible, I would try a photo that is zoomed in more and has the confusing background cropped out. Something like this:
(the first snip wasn’t exactly the proportions i meant, so i tried again which made it fuzzier, but i think you get the idea)
Take your photos first, crop the main photo to square, and have the art be the focus in the center of the picture. Then use the existing photo option when you submit. I hope this helps.
I don’t see your supporting section to comment on that. But I think the photo advice might help keep it from getting the “automated process” rejection.

Will do definitely next time. Now I need to wait as well to appeal to other ones when I will got chance. Don’t have much time now even to go out with newborn at home 
but definitely will try to do this. I. Area it’s around 20 different insects but wasn’t able to find them all at short walks tbh

I do love art like this! If you have a link to information about this art showing that it is a permanent installation, you can put that in the supporting section. I like to submit with minimal acceptable text, then edit in more information from my contributions page at Niantic Wayfarer which I can do on my computer so I can use a keyboard to type in the information.
And as has been said, it is absolutely fine to just do a new nomination instead of appealing the rejected one. Since appeals are limited, I usually try to submit a couple of times before I use one. You can still appeal either of them if the new one is also rejected. (I don’t resubmit with the same photo, though.)

There is more about that project what is kind of funny tbh. I’m trying to go for diffrent walks with my baby everyday but it’s not always easy

I would not bother with the appeal if they are nearby.
Zoom in then crop the bug should take up 75-80% of the picture in my opinion. Try and get a day when there are some good shadows that show the details. Once you have the pics check for brightness etc.
once happy with the photo you can submit.
Make sure you put those links in the supporting information.
You will need to explain they are permanent installations as that might be a doubt in some people’s minds.

Oh no I was trying to give for something else link to actually all statues and art what is in area (more pictures will upload after as only I can add 5 at the time )
Some of them are already done as pokestops and gyms but only bigger objects what could be spotted at first sight. I found as well where is Herron done it from 2 shopping trolleys lol but I did not notice that it wasn’t yet added so if it’s nice whether tomorrow and my little lady will be nice to me I will definitely try to upload more things

Thank you so much I am really enjoying time with little one. And I will definitely re do nominations plus I am sure now more people who playing will add them as well so probably soon all will be added to Pokémon go or different niantic games
