Over a year ago this location changed names from “Bravo Arts Academy” to “ABC Great beginnings” I submitted the change and it was rejected. I included a picture showing the new changed sign. On maps the name is updated, the only thing I can think of is it isn’t updated on street view since it was over a year ago. Any one have an idea as to why it was rejected even though it is a legit name change?
What you’re attempting to do is classed as repurposing a wayspot, which is against the rules.
If a business closes and another business takes its place, you are meant to report the wayspot as invalid for no longer existing. Then, if you think the new business meets the criteria, you can submit a new wayspot for it. That being said, in this case a childcare service is ineligible under the K-12 rejection criteria, so you’d have to find something else to submit instead that isn’t on this property.
Yes this needs removing rather than any change.
Ahh, I initially thought OP was saying that the same business changed its name, but now I see you’re right. And yep, it would have been a rejection anyway.
