Additional Information: Location of the wayspot is currently in the wrong location. The current location of the wayspot is depicted in the below pic as indicated by the arrow. The actual location is circled. This is a picture from urban.com.au about the building with the distinctly coloured playground playground clearly visible. I have also included a satellite photo from google which is slightly less clear, but the playground can be distinguished.
You cannot appeal or request location edits on the forum. You either need to appeal it within wayfarer itself using the appeal button (you get two appeals and each has a 20 day cool down after using them before they’re available again), or you can try going to the help page on the wayfarer website and using the orange speech bubble icon to open a support chat and request the edit through there. If you do it that way, you can include additional evidence to verify that the edit is correct.
The Wayfarer app is not to be used to submit nomination or edits. These should be submitted via either Ingress or PoGo. Submitting via the games will ensure that your submissions will be in Contribution Management, and will allow you to appeal them if need be.
The Wayfarer app was only in beta, and was mainly for developers to use. I say “was” as it was discontinued from Android at the beginning of November; it’s still available to iOS users, but again, it’s in beta.
