Hello and welcome @MVPChico

It’s not always obvious where the best place is to make your post.

The appeals area is for specific types of appeals. I will move this to general discussion which is where queries like yours are made.

The wayfarer team do read and often respond to queries such as yours.

The thing is I asked in the reddit week/s ago. On which image I should pick for a better submission. I have deleted it so I can send new one, so it won’t be flag as abuse again. But I have recent threads or post that can corroborate in my sentiment. I still have the original pictures I took in my gallery, that can amount to something If you guys want to see it. I didn’t know I’m going to have a warning, so I just deleted the first post I made with the pics of potential POI.

The deleted reddit post thread

I can’t view the post if I put the link for some reason, but can search through Google lens and the deleted post will show.

Unfortunately you cant use photo you submit else where because AI might think you “steal” that photo.

You can appeal and explain everything. Hopefully you will learn from this

Those links are helpful.

Best to wait and see how staff respond.

Usage of image available on third party sites is against the policies. There is no way for us to verify who posted the said image. Moreover, there are legalities involved with usage of third party images.

I’m going to revoke the warning as a goodwill gesture. That said, please do not use images available on any third party website. Thanks,

Thank you. I took another photo for my resubmission of potential POI. I started nominating roughly 2months now. I think my case would be a basis of other reviewers, or people who will send submissions in the future.

If legality is a concern, why don’t third party photos get removed once accepted?
