I submitted 5 wayspots yesterday around 19.00 (UTC+2). I did not see them in my contributions page, and I did not get an email. One hour after submitting them I got 1 email and submission in my contributions page. Today, around 11.00 (UTC+2), I received three more emails and submissions in my contributions page. One of my submissions is still missing.

It was not uploaded successfully to our servers. This may happen if the network is not stable while uploading the data. You may need to resubmit if you do not receive confirmation within 24 hours of submission.

Welcome to the community. If you are subbing via the app, I would suggest not submitting over data, but to save for later.
If submitting via the game still causes issue, the Wayfarer portal allows you to submit via the web, leaving for fewer issues.
@RieKoetje I have been experiencing this intermittently for 2 weeks, with emails and Contributions List being up to 24 hours delayed for certain nominations.
All of my missing ones have ended up coming in. I would recommend waiting for 24 hours before trying to resubmit.
There appears to be a lag. It’s taking time for the submitted data to be processed on our servers. Our team is looking into the issue.
Thank you for sharing this. It’s the first time for me this has happened to me and didn’t notice anything wrong with my submissions from last week. I think over 24 hours have passed for the missing submission. It did subtract from my nomination count. I hope it still pops back up at some point 
The final submission mail came in this morning (about 36 hours after nominating). I made a few more nomination today and those were normal.
