Multiple Supporting Images submitted through Web Submissions not getting added to the nomination

Hello Wayfinders,

We are aware of the issue impacting Web Submissions where multiple supporting images are not getting added even if uploaded successfully. The contribution Management only shows one image. This issue has been flagged internally to the relevant team for their review.

We understand the inconvenience this might cause and are committed to resolve it as early as possible.

Thanks for your patience as we investigated this issue!

We have shipped a fix for the aforementioned issue. You should now be able to submit multiple supporting images.

Are we able to get more submissions to make up for the ones that are probably wasted now because the supporting image isn’t good?

If we made a submission prior to this bug fix but it is still in the queue, will all the submitted photos now be visible to reviewers or would we need to resubmit in order for that to be the case?

Unfortunately, the images won’t reflect retroactively.

If the submission shows all of the images when we look at it in the contribution section, does that mean it wasn’t impacted by the bug? Or was the nature of the bug such that the submitter could see all the images but reviewers could use only 1?

Yes, if you can see all the images in the Contribution Management page, your nomination wasn’t impacted.

I submitted two spots with multiple supporting images earlier but only one shows up for each :frowning: Was this not fixed?

I’ve got three submissions on hold because it lost the extra supporting images. Can we get an update before the weekend please?

Bug Reports should include the following and any additional information you feel is necessary to aid in the investigation of the bug.

  • Description of the issue _ I am submitting multiple photos in the supporting category for submissions , through Niantic’s `wayfarer website but only one is showing in contributions. Older submissions, are showing the gallery of photos.
  • Date first (or most recently) experienced yesterday, 15th January
  • Device type, model, and operating system iPad Air, latest iOS. 26.2
  • Game & Game Version (if applicable) Niantic wayfarer
