Hello, this is my first message here, but I’ve been following the forum for a long time. I just noticed that we can now submit Waypoints directly through Wayfarer — is this new?
Brand new, it seems, though we were told this feature was coming in the Roadmap.

I had one that I was … waiting, to upload.
The whole process is very easy and very smooth, there’s a small delay before it shows up in the contributions tab but its the same as uploading from PoGO so I expected it.
Having used it once, I am very impressed with it so far.
Yes, web submissions seem to be live, but no official announcement yet.
Also, do make sure you have your location set correctly on your device or it may put you at a different location.

Yes, you can add up to 5 supporting photos, and the additional information section is optional.

Hey so, firstly
I love this feature, especially when they show all submission nearby. However can we have the option to show more wayspot nearby if we choose to remote submit from far away?
I mean…this is kinda not helping what wayspot would be a duplicate or if they are not eligible to show up for other game…
I think for many that use Upload Later a good deal, this is going to be helpful. It’s not a feature I use a lot, but there are those that do.
I also love that up to 5 supporting photos can be added! That will be helpful for areas without Street View or not-so-great satellite view.
Yes, this is a new feature. While it’s not complete, we thought it would be a good idea to get the first version out for feedback before the end of the year. We hope you use it and give us any feedback you think would be helpful additions 
It could be added in the future. Remember, this is just version 1.
