Multiple way spots at 1 business

I was reviewing submissions and came across one that is a mural on the side of a tall building. The mural is an old ad for a business located below the mural. When looking at the potential duplicate spots, I noticed that there are two existing way spots related to the business being advertised in the mural I was reviewing. One for the business itself, and one for a work of art that was painted on one of the windows of the business. There was another mural nearby that I suspect may have also been on this business’s building but I didn’t investigate further.

None of these are strictly duplicates in that they’re all for different things, but they’re all associated with the same small business. At what point, if any, is that enough to qualify them as duplicates anyway?

There is a lot of using your best judgement in Wayfarer. It would help to have screenshots. From what you describe, all three of the points of interest are separate, and should be considered separately if eligible separately.

Should I consider proximity to nearby Wayspots or Wayspot density when analyzing a nomination?

No. As long as the nomination is not a duplicate of an existing Wayspot, it is eligible to become a Wayspot. Each Niantic app has its own proximity rules to determine whether it will be included in the app.
