I just got hit with an immediate, unexplained 30-day ban on Pokémon GO and Wayfarer without receiving any email, and the only recent action I took was appealing the rejection of my bridge nomination, which I guaranteed is $100%$ real, safe, and correctly located. please check for me
If this ban is from Wayfarer, you will have two more emails, I believe. One will have an example Wayspot and explain the infraction committed. I am going to tag @TjoeMi for examples.

i think it is wayfarer because if from game can i still access wayfarer? i cant access both..
a ban in any niantic product gets you banned in all of them
It doesn’t matter where the ban comes from - if you get a ban, it applies to all Niantic products.
i only play wayfarer and pokemon go
did you got the email for the appeal? if so, then you would receive the emails about the ban if it were from wayfarer, too.
i see that nianticaaron has been active on the forum this morning and may be able to confirm.

This new suspension is highly unlikely to stem from any in-game activity, as I had previously already served a separate 30-day ban from Pokémon GO.
