South Halstead Riverwalk Bike Service Area
Description
This area is near the Halsted St. entrance to the park and it has two self service bike stations. It allows people to take a break and tune up their rides while appreciating the water way. Its a rare amenity for a park in the city to have bike service stations so it makes for a unique feature. This park has a mural, a floating island, and some amazing scenic views of downtown Chicago with the industrial corridor in the foreground. Picnic areas are available for visitors who need a table for munching.

The bike stations are not in the main image since I could not frame them correctly but they are in the supporting image on the left side of the photo. Its an awesome place to explore and the bike stations make this park very unique since not many parks around here have that amenity. It has some cool views of the city and a fun place to walk and bike.
also I didn’t even get a rejection email so I dont know if it was reviewed by niantic and then thrown into community voting or what exactly happened. This was a screenshot I Took at 10am yesterday

The rejection reason is odd and lack of email sounds as though something may have gone wrong.
The wayfarer Team may be able to clear up what has occurred.
Looking at your nomination it is not clear what exactly you are nominating and that might be part of the issue it was rejected.
The title and a good chunk of the description is about the bike service station. Bike stations are not normally eligible as they are regarded as infrastructure and not meeting criteria.
Then the photo is of some benches but it is not clear from the photo how they link to the bike station.
I couldn’t get google streetview to show me the area and the benches. The benches are not arranged in a way that looks to be a great social space, but maybe the view is good? It’s hard to tell from the photos.
So perhaps have a rethink here and focus on the view…..take a break and take in the view across the river. Some photos with the benches in the foreground but with the view dominating might work.

I understand that I really botched this one and was ok if it was rejected. I wasn’t feeling attached to this nomination and was going to go back a different day to take a better image. The issue is not that it was rejected, the issue for me is the reason it was rejected makes no sense and I didn’t even get an email for it.
If the question is how the benches link to the bike station I was hoping my supporting image and info could clear that up since the bike station is in view with many tools chained to the pole and an electric air pump is visible too. Its a rare amenity that is a considerate design feature of whoever designed it. I am considering the bike station as a kind of ‘fitness station’ since it helps promote healthy exercise. And the benches are designed to be part of it but, its the worst view of the park so that wasn’t my focus for this nom lol.
I guess since it is a failed nomination it doesn’t matter the reason, It could have been rejected for ‘web link in the description or title’, and it wouldn’t make any difference.

Thanks for your help! That’s strange, how can I see what emails are attached to my account? I only nominate things through one email and only have one account. I always log in using the same email and no other.
Have a look at https://my.nianticlabs.com/settings/account-management via https://my.nianticlabs.com/account. For me, this lists the various ways in which I can sign in to my Pokemon Go/Wayfarer account.

I see Aaron has cleared up that it was a miss click, we all make occasional mistakes like that.
Regarding the bike station, useful though it is to those on bikes it is essentially just a utility. They are a well designed to assist with a range of problems but it isn’t a place designed to exercise at, or socialise or to explore. Thus I don’t see why these would meet criteria. On the otherhand if there is a good view from the benches, it won’t be straightforward, but that would be a better focus for submitting.
A case of less is more.
