Nature Park with mulitible entrances/signs

Hi

I cannot seem to find clarification for this so I will ask here.

North and East of our town there is a large nature park. Recently two identical signs were put up, one on road leading north out of our town, one on northwest road. (here is one of them):

Questions:

  1. Would the sign be eligible? I know that parks need signs so i would say yes, but I may be mistaken.
  2. Can both signs become wayspots since they are indentical? They are around 500 meters apart.
  3. If yes to both signs can become wayspots, how would you go about naming them?

Hello! In my opinion (I speak for no one else!) those signs are not eligible as signs…but they could be eligible as Park entrances, although the location on the median is problematic. It looks like one paved lane might be for autos, and the other for bikes or pedestrians? I’d definitely make it clear in my nomination if the access is indeed safe and people are able to physically touch the sign without being in danger. I’d also make it clear that I’m not nominating the sign as a standalone object, but am nominating Naturpark Mølleåen Entrance North (example title). If you do wish to nominate both entrance signs, I’d be sure to title them differently, use a wide camera angle for the supporting photo to show that the backgrounds differ, and write a unique description and supporting detail. If these signs appear on street view in your area, that will help your case!

As I say, these are my opinions only. Please do not be surprised or angered if local opinions differ and your nominations don’t get accepted: that happens to us all, and they can always be appealed later if so! Just make the best possible case for your candidates, prove they’re safe, accurate, and meet the socialize/exercise/exploration criteria, and give reviewers good factual information, and you’ll be poised for a happy outcome. Good luck!
