I’m wondering, if due to recent changes in how things function, namely, using the contribution management page rather than help chat, if the intro for Wayspot Appeals topic needs a brand new post, or update to the original one?
The intro will most likely be updated after today, as it’s still May 15th in the US. Niantic is based in the Pacific time zone in the US, and it’s about to be 1pm on May 15th there.

In particular, I would like to see guidance (or pointer to guidance) about what the rate-limiting rules are for these types of appeals.
I don’t believe there is any limit on how many appeals one can submit. Some here only submit appeals for invalid Wayspot removals and nothing else.

This needs to be edited so that what this category is FOR comes first. Then you can say what it is not. I would move the first sentence to the end of the description.

Agree. There are still a good deal of threads created that aren’t valid Wayspot appeals. It could help cut down on someone trying to ask for a location edit that’s 10m away, a photo removal request, etc.
