Your nomination will be shown to those who are in your voting area, and they’ll rate it per the Wayfarer criteria

Yes, votes come from your voting area, and depending on the number of reviewers in your area may determine when a decision is made.
If you do want more Wayspots in your area, you may want to check out this thread, as it has some great tips about what to look for to nominate in rural areas:
If you feel the nomination is taking too long to be reviewed, you can upgrade it so more people will be able to review it.
Hi Cobra. If you need help finding things to nominate in your area, drop some coordinates and we will be happy to look around on the map for things that you could submit. Just be aware that no one is promised to get a wayspot at or near their house. Wayspots are only added at eligible places. We know a lot about the kinds of things to look for that new people don’t realize are eligble, though.
Post a location if you feel comfotable doing so. Just don’t give us coordinates to your house.
