Hello, my submission was finally appealed and accepted, and I was informed of this on Tuesday, 12/23. It has been 2 days, or 48 hours as the confirmation message said would take to update and be on the map. I’ve been checking everywhere and not seen anything. Is there something I’m missing or do I just need to wait long?

The email you received does also state that not all wayspots are eligible to appear in all Niantic games. We have a pinned post on the forum that gives the likely explanation for why your wayspot hasn’t become a Pokéstop. You can read it here:
If you want help checking if this applies to your nomination, it would be helpful to have the name of the wayspot you submitted, and also the GPS coordinates of it. You don’t have to share these details if you’d rather not do so, of course, but having that information would allow others to help show you what’s going on.
