Hi - I recently nominated a street corner near where we walk along with others including students on our way to state park where I actually created a route that has been in use for a while. My nom was just a simple street intersection but since I see street corners popping up as pokestops near by - and some don’t even have sidewalks or room for pedestrians, I was wondering why it was rejected. I would like to do what i can to get that one or one nearby accepted but not sure what specifically is needed for a the spot where two streets meet. Thanks in advance for any info or help!

Are ALL street corners now eligible? Nope! Wayspot nominations by Wayfinders still need to comply with Wayspot criteria. Niantic generated Wayspots like these are meant to address game play gaps in areas that need them.

As per the official quotes I can only see “all the more reason not to allow your submission”.
If you ask in Nomination Support and post your general location I am sure you will get some suggestions, alternatively if you have any ideas post the details (photo, title, description, supplemental and location) and you will get advice on whether it has a chance or suggestions on how to improve before nominating.
Don’t let this setback get you down, if you ask most of the nominators here giving good advice will admit to mistakes at the start. Mine was a bus stop…
