There are no pokestops in my area. The area is very safe for adults and kids to walk, jog and excercise. It is a compound estate with many residents and many play areas, mosques and walking paths. the area is quite large with no pokestops at all. would love to have some around especially a gym to make our daily walks with the kids and the dog more enjoyable.
I submitted so many. one of them.was of the golf course/club and it got rejected. the golf club is one of the most prestigious golf courses in the country and hosts international championships. I assumed thry woud have made it a gym, instead it got rejected!

I only posted this because our area has no gyms or pokestops. which is such a shame as it is a very active and lively area and community. So it would be such a perfect location for many pokestops and gyms

From satellite view I see no clear safe pedestrian access.
That should be a good candidate indeed

As for the gate 2 entrance. There is definitely a pedestrian area and sidewalk. I use that area to walk out of the estate regularly and walk on the sidewalk outside of the estate
this is a photo of the walkway. which is being improved at the moment and made wider for the pedestrians.
May I ask why hole 16 isnt a good spot ? as there is a walkway across of it and people walk there regularly.

located in Riffa Views, in the lagoon area. Adjacent to one of the most beautiful walking pathways and next to a few gorgeous lagoons.
Area usually has people passing by, walking or going to the mosque ot taking kids to the park. Area really needs a poke stop or GYM

Shouldn’t be enough to get a Rejection but I would suggest not mentioning what is “near” the POI. The description should just be about the POI itself.
If you put this in the description then that is a reason to Reject. No game related text should be used. Remember that your nomination could be used in other games and not just Pokemon Go.

I do not want to give you a blanket “yes, resubmit” without completely understanding what the nomination is. A mosque should be a great candidate.
NEVER use the information in the article I linked to misplace pins. Just to understand what it takes to get a Wayspot to become a Pokestop or gym.

The area of the golf club has potential for more wayspots. Think more about wayspots than pokestops and gyms - once wayspots get accepted, the pokestops and gyms will arrive naturally.
In order to be accepted, a wayspot has to not fail any of the rejection criteria
- it has to be safely accessible to pedestrians
- it can’t be on school grounds, single-family private residential property, farmland
- it has to exist at the location given
- it has to have a reasonably accurate title and description
- the photo cannot contain licence plates, identifiable people, unnecessary animals
It also has to meet one of the key criteria
- Exploration
- Exercise
- Social
Something can pass all the rejection reasons but still not be eligible because it simply isn’t meeting criteria. Please have a look at these for understanding what makes a good wayspot.
