No Submission Emails - iOS

Hello,

I’ve made a few in-game submissions over the past few days (beginning 12/05) but haven’t been receiving any of the usual submission received/approved/etc emails.

Device Info: iPhone 14 Pro Max - iOS 18.7.2

I did check the spam/junk mail folders, of course. I’m wondering if this maybe has something to do with using the “Sign In With Apple” feature that my account is setup on.

I DID receive the “You Helped Shape the World This Month” email on 12/03, but haven’t received any emails from the ‘notices@‘ email address over these past few days like I used to so just wanted to make a quick report.

Just making sure your nominations were made through the Pokemon Go And not Ingress? Ingress nominations will now go to Niantic Spatial Recon.

Correct. All submissions/edits/photos were submitted in-game in Pokemon Go.

What method do you use to log into the game?

I see you mentioned signing in with Apple. Did you choose to hide your email address? If so, you might not have your relay email set up.

I typically use the “Sign In With Apple” method to login to the game as well unless there are issues with it, then I’ll use the Pokemon Trainer Club login method.

I know for a fact that the Apple sign-in uses the ‘private relay’ aka a different email address that forwards, so that’s where I’m assuming the breakdown could be happening.

Never had an issue in the past so just wanted to report it in case there was some change that affected others.

As far as I’m aware, I can’t change anything about that method once it’s set, otherwise I would.

Your PoGo account has to be linked to at least Apple, Google, or Facebook in order to use Wayfarer; Wayfarer does not use Trainers Club. I’d check your relay email to see if this is an issue.

Im not too familiar with it, but yeah theres often reports of missing emails from using Apple login, PTC wont do any better as its not supported in Wayfarer… best option would be linking and using Gmail.

Got it. It’s never caused an issue in the past, but if it’s gone because of that, it’s gone. I made that choice when I first started playing the game and current functionally doesn’t let me change it, so if that’s it, then thanks :folded_hands:

Just wanted to update this thread with the news that I NOW seem to be receiving the emails for submissions/approvals as of today - January 2nd, 2026. :partying_face:

I never received an email for multiple submissions/approvals that occurred throughout December (the latest being around 12/27/2025), so I just wanted to report this in case it had anything to do with the global delayed-POI issue that occurred a few days ago.

Seems like whatever they fixed may have also fixed my issue so thanks! :folded_hands:
