Nomination rejection-appeal rejected due to "mismatched location" when it is placed correctly

Hi! I’ve tried submitting this beach three times now, adjusting the pictures and text and title, but Emily has rejected it each time. This last time I appealed it, and it went to Niantic Review, and was rejected for wrong placement, but it is correctly placed (street view is old, from before new owners bought the camping grounds and painted all the buildings).

What to do?

I know it doesn’t look super man-made by many standards, but it has totally been built up by villagers to be a nice place to be. As nice as a beach in a tiny village along an ice-cold fjord without sand can be.

Rejection appeal and re-rejection reason:

  • Title: Steinstrand ved Innvik Fjordcamp

Oppfyller krav til utforsking, bl. a.

  • Location: 61.857878, 6.602402

At first glance I prefer the supplementary photo.
But I am going to tag @Trollfarer for their expertise.

Yeah, the main photo is ugly, but because the nicer ones have not gone through in previous attempts, I decided to try to get as much man-made parts of the beach in the picture as possible, in hopes that it would help :see_no_evil_monkey:

What I was thinking is that they think the placement is off, since on google maps the “Innvik Fjordcamp AS” is placed at the white house a bit further up, not at the reception-house area (the gray building closer to the street). But both houses are shown in the main picture, so the team should be able to determine it is placed correctly.

Your first version makes it more clear to me that this is a beach (purely in terms of pictures, I have not reviewed the text). If appealing with no place marker, that’s rather the one I would appeal.
