So yes, I know it shouldn’t appear in Ingress, but still valid for PoGo’s rules.

I can’t recall the cut over date, but in the very early days of Wayfarer the master wayspot database was still Ingress. So wayspots not only needed to be in an empty cell to appear in PoGo but also needed follow the Ingress 20m rule. That changed with the introduction of Lightship.

One of the ambassadors will be able to confirm if that wayspot exist in the database or it is one you will have to resubmit.

@hikaru588 is correct. IIRC Lightship happened late 2021.

Resubmit provided it is eligible and acceptable.

Since this shows that it was accepted wouldn’t resubmitting just tag this as a duplicate?

Way back in the early days, Ingress was the database. If an accepted nomination was too close to appear in Ingress, it could not be added to the database. Unlike now, when a nomination that can’t appear in any game will still exist in Lightship. Lightship did not exist back then, so there was no way to store it. I actually had one of these myself and successfully submitted it again when Lightship became a thing.

I don’t have the Wayfarer app to see if the one being discussed exists in Lightship, but the ambassador does.

@cyndiepooh sums up how it was then. Which begs the question how many review accepted wayspots didn’t go live since OPR.
