Thank you for submitting a Wayspot nomination! While some nominations may be deemed eligible by the community of reviewers on Niantic Wayfarer for inclusion into Niantic’s location database, they may not necessarily be added into every Niantic game. After a nomination is approved by reviewers, there is an additional automated review that determines whether the nomination is an appropriate fit for each particular Niantic game. Each game has their own set of criteria for this step, so some nominations may be accepted into one game but not another.
The most common reason that an eligible nomination is not added to Pokémon GO is because the nomination is too close to existing PokéStops or Gyms. If an existing game location is removed or the criteria changes, the nomination may appear within Pokémon GO at a later time.
Please keep in mind that while this is a common reason, it is not the only one.

trying to move a correctly located wayspot is abuse.
if the wayspot is incorrectly located, you can ask help chat to move it at Niantic Wayfarer
they will need evidence of the real life correction, and will not move something just to make something show up in pokemon go.

So, your wayspot may be used as a Powerspot at a later date.
If the current wayspot is removed for legitimate reasons then yours could take its place.
Please Note: Trying to get a correct waypoint removed just to get yours in game is seen as Abuse and could get your account(s) (wayfarer and all games) suspended or banned. Do Not Try It.

Actually this Wayspot is too close to be used as a Powerspot from the research WDD has done. The outer blue ring represents the 22m distance that appears to be required for a Powerspot.

If this is your 1st setback then don’t let it get to you. Many warefarers will get a good percentage of Refusals when they start. At least yours got accepted in to the database even if it didn’t get in to the game.
