Normally these are removed because someone has reported them as being on private residential property (which includes the garden of a single family residence). It’s difficult to tell it’s exact location from these photographs, but if it is definitely not on prp I would submit geotagged photos showing this so that Niantic can review.

check google 360 photo, in basic sense of public library, it is accessible 24/7, also there is automatic light for night to help to see on it.

From that Google view It appears to be on the driveway of the house on the right which would make it invalid if that house is a single family residence. It doesn’t matter whether it’s accessible or not, it’s whether it is situated on private or public property.

yes, there is about 2m to garage doors, that is problem?? Owner of garage placed library there, does not see any problem, owner decided and respect that.
Can not anybody drive there dangerously if it is your meaning. And center point is placed cca 1m outside this area on the public sidewalk.

It’s not that it’s dangerous, just not allowed to be on private property and to me it looks like it’s on private property, but Niantic may reach a different conclusion.

I would be inclined to agree with this. The driveway of the property is still part of the property, so therefore this would be considered to be on private residential property.

hey and what about all fancy historical fascades, mainly are not at public buildings and in fact are also in property of some private owner, should we start with repeal, I do not thing so. We have there about 80 of them just in small range of my local.
POI have some accessible range.
And in this case, we talk about Public Library - sharing books, in sense of that I can not accept yours explanation. Also is staying just on the edge of private and public.

See some fancy fascades there which according your explanations should be rejected

all on private buildings and some event behind the fence and centered there also …

If any of those are single family private residences, then yes, those would be ineligible and should be removed. At least one of them appears to be single family and at least one of them looks to be a building with multiple dwellings. The ones with multiple dwellings are likely OK, but anything on the property of a single family private residence is not eligible, including if it’s on the outward facing part of a property boundary, such as if it’s attached to the garden wall, for example.

Yes most of those examples appear to have been wrongly accepted or accepted before Niantic clarified PRP. Anything on or attached to a Single Family Residence can be reported for removal. There are a lot about - historic plaques are commonly wrongly accepted on single family properties. Whether you wish to report them is up to you, but others might wish to, personally I have more important things to do with my time. If you do just ensure the building isn’t multi-residency.

so now we can go back to public library, It is placed on the edge of street(public) and private area, Actually the house is not single family but there are living two families (for me really strange rule) and also is there publisher (one family has small publishing company).
Make to You now sense of placed public library and legit POI and also safe zone for all players and lovers of books?

If you’ve got clear evidence it is not a single family residence then present it here for Niantic to review and they may restore it. I don’t think there was any question that it was safe to access just that it appreared to at least partially be on PRP.

So red 1st flat, blue 2nd flat, violet POI, pink house bells to reach families.

Thanks for the appeal, Explorer. We have taken another look but stand by our decision to retire the Wayspot.
