Poke stop appeal approved but still not showing

I appealed my PokéStop and it was approved, but it never showed up. It has been several weeks. It shows approved on my contributions page, but not under my profile. Help?!

I have this written up for when I see a wheresmypokestop question. I know the prompt tells you that you are submitting a “Pokestop” but you are actually submitting a Wayspot to the database. The Wayspot can only become a Pokestop or gym if it is alone in a level 17 S2 cell. The S2 cell use has not been officially confirmed as far as I am aware, but staff has acknowledged there is an additional step after acceptance. An important thing to always take into account is that reviewing and nominating on Wayfarer is specifically for Wayspots. How these Wayspots appear in Niantic games is up to those games. Pokemon Go uses the S2 cell system to determine when/how/what wayspots will appear as pokestops/power spots/gyms or not at all. The pokestops are limited to 1 per level 17 cell, so if your wayspot is in the same cell as another existing pokestop, that could be why you can’t see it in game.
