Hi, what shall i do. I received email on the 2nd that they approved my submission for a stop and it will take 48 hours to appear. This was my 2nd try to add stops to my area. My first suggestion got turned down. But i was super excited with the approval and i have been checking every day first thing in the morningand and last at night. But sadley no stop appeared. What can i do?

The prompt in the nomination process indicates that you are submitting a Pokestop, but you are actually submitting a Wayspot to Niantic’s Lightship database. Pokemon Go uses Wayspots that are alone in an L17 S2 cell. A good article about how that works is this one:

If you want to leave the name of the Wayspot and the gps coordinates, we can check and let you know if that is what has happened with your Wayspot.

That’s because there’s other pokestops in the same cell, you can search in google “Pokémon Go cells map” to know if there’s some pokestops in the same cell, and to understand how it works this cells you can search in youtube a tutorial to know more about it and understand it better.
