Pokémon Go Set Location Problems

Bug Reports should include the following and any additional information you feel is necessary to aid in the investigation of the bug.

  • Missing map for pinning location of Waystop
  • 6/22/25
  • IPhone 11
  • Pokémon Go version 0.365.1-A-64

Does anyone know how to fix this

It has a blank screen where the map should be where I would pin Waystops

I have been having a lot of random issues after the last update. Does this continue to be a problem after a restart?

Yes it does, and I have an IPad Air 3 Generation, and the map works on there on my same account.

If you click on the map, usually it reload. Sometimes i also have that blank. But map reload when i click to move

The little plane usually only appears for me when I have it in airplane mode. Is that switched on? Have you tried different settings as it might be having difficulty locating you so loading the map is difficult.

I clicked the map, touched the map, and moved my finger on the screen but nothing happens or showed up. I did turn of airplane mode and tried turning off and on a few different settings, but it didn’t work either.

Have you already checked out your settings like asked in the other thread?

This has happen to me few times in past week. So far closing and reopening the game fixes it.

I did try switching on and off airplane mode, along with trying different setting but it still hasn’t worked, I do not know if I have a pop up blocker or not. I also tried opening and closing it, but it didn’t work. I can still place Waystops though, so the map doesn’t really affect anything, it just pins my current location, but thanks for all of the help👍

Hi, in my observations, there is an ongoing issue in Pokémon GO where if you try nominating something after submitting a location edit, the map will appear blank as you show. This is very inconvenient but is fixed by a restart. Does this track with what you have done prior to experiencing the issue?

It’s happened to me, and I have not done an edit.
I put it down to poor signal as it seemed random, and does sort out once I can restart.
