Do you also Review? with these you can earn “Upgrades” which you can apply to a nomination, once it reaches “In Voting” it would be sent to a wider audience which should speed up the process.
Also reviewing in your area should also gets those cleared quicker allowing yours to get in to “Voting” quicker.
