Hey so basically in the image below u can see a pokestop and 2 circles in the red circle theres already a wayspot there but is too close to the existing pokestop and in the blue circle is i have nominated a pokestop and it has been accepted
So my question is this new pokestop is the 3rd in the proximity technically so would one of the pokestops turn into a gym or do i still need 1 more?
This would all depend on the S2 Cells in this area, if you can post the GPS Co-ordinates we should be able to confirm.

You absolutely cannot tell spacing from the map view in game. Here is an example.
The blue dot is a stop, and the red one is a gym. The Pokestop is difficult to see because the gym is so close. But they are on opposite sides of a cell line, so both are in game. The green dot is much further from the gym, but is not a Pokestop or gym because it is in the same L17 S2 cell as the gym Wayspot.

I don’t see a Wayspot at those coordinates. The Wayspot may have been moved in voting.

This is how the cells look there, I can’t figure out how it aligns with your drawings on the in game maps but hopefully uou can
Yeah there’s nothing else there, so I’m not sure where fhe new PoI is
The tool we are using does not allow us to see the whole L14 S2 cell at once. (If you don’t know what I am talking about with the cells, see https://pokemongohub.net/post/article/comprehensive-guide-s2-cells-pokemon-go/) but only one of those three should be live in Pokemon Go, so would not contribute to getting a gym.

I can show you the entire L14 on the outdated iitc map that no longer updates with Wayspots.
I can see here that the closest one to the coordinates you gave is an older one.
The hart of duston pub is the current existing pokestop and the pokestop thats too close to be seen ingame is Harlestone Road londis post office and the new nominated ome tht got accepted 5hrs ago is the freight depot sign
I think they have 5 PoIs showing in Go in this cell at the moment
Based on scrolling around the current live map.
So need 1 more for a gym I think (into a new cell)

I see it. It is at 52.260396, -0.953043 so is not in a separate L17 to be eligible to be a Pokestop or gym.

Yeah, okay so all 3 are in the same cell
If you’d nominated something at the depot itself, the building is in another cell l, so that would have worked. Maybe they have a staff picnic/seating area outside or something like that?

This image shows the hart pub (currently a pokestop)
Londis which is too close to the hart so it is not visible ingame but i presume is still technically there
And the pan freight depot sign which is the pokestop i nominated and ws accepted
So would this new pan freight sign allow one of those 3 to become a gym?

In order to trigger a new gym, it has to be eligible to be a pokestop or gym. So no, this will not do it.
Ok so i have to nominate 1 more place nearby for one of them to become a pokestop?
The 3 you already have in that cell, only 1 will ever be a stop/gym, because only 1 thing per cell can turn into a stop/gym.
So you need to find things in other cells
It’s really unfortunate spacing with these 3 things
