Pokestop approved but not showing in game

Hey, so I submitted a waypoint and got approved 3 days ago but still doesn’t show up in game. I am not sure about the S2 cells but there are no pokestops close to me so I don’t think there are any pokestops preventing mine.

Here are the coordinates:

This does appear to be in an empty cell. We had the announcement about the map sync pause for the weekend, and I saw at least one person report that there wasn’t a PoGo sync yesterday either. I don’t know if it is related to the Map pause, or the Go Tour, or just a coincidence, but I think this will eventually show on the game board when PoGo sync does happen next.

If it doesn’t show up in a few days, maybe check back to look for other issues, like a geo-block.

I also have an approved waypoint that just appeared on the map (empty cell) but not as a stop / gym.

I assume that most if not all of these will be sorted once the “map sync pause” has ended so until then I would deem this “expected behaviour”.
