PokeStop not appearing over 48 Hours after approval

Hello, my pokestop got approved over 48 hours ago and it says it would appear after up to 48 hours later and I’m not really sure what’s happening. Im aware there’s a chance it might go to a different Niantic game but is there a map or way to check because I’m just concerned there was an error.

Welcome to thr Community.

Hopefully the Ambassadors will place this in the right discussion group shortly.

Your Wayspot will most likely be in the same inclusion cell as another Wayspot, so it may not appear in Pokemon Go.

This link should explain how the system currently works based on our understanding.

Are you able or willing to share the location and name of your Wayspot so we can check?

Ahh, I understand kind of not really lol. :joy: This PokeStop is in CA in the US. It is called “Log Stranded Beaver”. If you need more info on location lmk

Thank you!!

It took me a while to understand it, and it’s a task and a half to fully get it. In terms of the location, we do need more specific if possible, otherwise we could spend a few hours trying to find it.

It’s in Sacramento if you need even more specific I can link the cords

If you can supply the co ordinates that will be very helpful

You can get the coordinate from the submission email. Majority of people here are just fellow wayfarer which dont have access to your submission. Hence they need coordinate for fast checking . I dont think anyone want to check whole city just to find someone’s submission if you can just
share the coordinate . But If you are uncomfortable with sharing the coordinate, you can use map like pogomap info to see the cell border yourself (this one is crowdsource)

Oh! I got this one to review, and accepted it. From my history, the pin was placed at
38.68081,-121.529148
which puts it inside an already occupied L17 S2 cell, so it won’t be eligible to become a pokestop or gym:

There is a possibility that this was moved in voting from where you pinned it, but I don’t see any reason it would have been. This would be eligible to become a powerspot where it is pinned, whenever they decide to sync in more of those. We are hoping for June 4.

Can you tell me what this is?

If it is something eligible, it is in a free cell and would be eligible to be a pokestop or gym.

Or these picnic tables are in that same cell that you could submit as a picnic area

But I suggested the other thing (depending on what it is) because a pokestop or gym at these tables would mean that “Log Stranded Beaver” would probably not be eligible to be a Powerspot then.

Here are the cells for the whole park:

Omg thanks, yeah that’s the park. I’ll try to submit those picnic tables

Is there a way that I can see this map for the future?

The image you asked for is people flying a kite I think

this is iitc, a map of ingress portals, with a pogotools overlay to show the cells. this is no longer being updated with new wayspots submitted through wayfarer since wayfarer and pokemon go were sold to scopely, but not ingress, so i don’t know how worthwhile it would be to bother setting it up. i have been told by staff that i can’t share this type of file on the forum since the type has the potential to do harm, but am allowed to screenshot what you are looking for if you google it.

the readme for that has installation instructions, plus updated information i mentioned.

Okay thank you! I will check it out or just use the screenshot as a reference of what to use. I am going to close the thread if that is okay. Thank you for your help

Loved your supporting statement btw! Is what convinced me that it was eligible separately from the playground =)
