PokéStops not added after over 48h (alone in L17 cell, more than 20m from each other)

I have recently submitted and had approved two new Wayspots in my town. However, neither of them has appeared as a PokéStop in Pokémon GO, even though more than 48 hours have passed since their approval.

Both meet the known requirements:

  • They are more than 20 meters apart from each other and from existing Wayspots.
  • Each Wayspot is located in its own unique S2 L17 cell.

I understand that not every Wayspot is guaranteed to appear in Pokémon GO, but this has been happening to me very frequently lately, as well as to other players in my area. This is particularly unfortunate because we live in a small town with a very small local community, and new PokéStops would make a big difference for us (Moravská Třebová, 57101, Czechia).

The specific Wayspots in question are:

  1. Dřevěná socha sovy (Wooden Owl Statue) – 49.755469, 16.671550
  2. Výroční poklop s erbem města Moravská Třebová (Anniversary Manhole Cover with Town Emblem) – 49.755016, 16.671788

Could you please review these approved Wayspots and check why they were not added as PokéStops in Pokémon GO?
If possible, I would kindly ask if they could be activated in the game, or if this report could be escalated to the Pokémon GO team responsible for managing PokéStops.
If not, I would very much appreciate advice on the proper channel or team to contact regarding such issues.

Thank you for your time and support.

Hello and welcome to the forums,

This is not a bug and will probably be moved into #general discussion.

This is a known issue. Please check this topic

Also note that this “Rule” is for Ingress which is no longer connected to Wayfarer since Scopely purchased the majority of Niantics game division (inc Pokemon Go and Wayfarer). Ingress remained with the original company now renamed as “Niantic Spatial”.
