This portal has been permanently removed. I tried to submit the current photo, but it was not approved. How do I apply for the removal of this portal?

There is a link at the top of the forums titled “Wayspot removals” you can click on that and follow the links to the form, don’t worry if it asks you if you are the property owner that part is no longer required.

If you use the Wayspot Removal form, you will get an automated email asking for proof that you are the property owner. Just ignore that one.

You can appeal the rejection notice here in the forum. If you click on the Wayspot Appeals tag and create a new post in that section, it will generate the form to fill out in a new post. It will ask for the name of the Wayspot, the lat./lon. of the Wayspot, the location, a screenshot of the rejection notice, and additional information, which is where you can include the photos of the location and explain that the Wayspot isn’t valid anymore.
Getting an automated rejection notice email for Wayspot Removal is not at all uncommon. It’s fairly easy to appeal here in the forums as long as you use the proper form and provide evidence in the way of photos or other details. In my experience the appeals for removal can be processed in around one week, depending.
