Yesterday evening / this morning the portal Schommel Heaberch was removed again.
The wayspot has not changed since it was created. Seems like someone or some people delight in removing portals… so sad.
Can you undo the removal pls? Thx.

I’ve been trying to find that as well. But nothing on the forums.
I searched through soms tg channels as well, but couldn’t find a thing. Was it too long ago?
Only thing I could find was changing the portal description (someone added some text that wasn’t ok), but that’s something different.
Is there something else you need from me? I’ll add my screenshots from Wayfarer.

Oh, I am not staff, but was trying to help you with your appeal. Since we can’t find the details of the previous one, you should present evidence that the Wayspot still exists there and is an eligible location.
I do see a swing about where your pin is, but it appears to be located by someone’s driveway. You will need to show this is not SFPRP(single family private residential property) but a common area for the community:
And it is possible that even if this is a common area, a property owner could have asked for the removal if they considered it a nuisance.
Thanks for the appeal, @Asqii. We have taken another look but stand by our decision to retire this Wayspot.
Could you tell me the reason for removing as well as why you stand by your decision?
Im sure it out of abundance if caution when it come tonsingle home residences. You were unable to provide proof that this is public land, so unfortunately Niantic has to side with caution.
The green hedge is the property boundary. Has been since the houses are built roughly 10 yeara ago.
The swing is outside property boundary.
It is rather disappointing having to re adress this issue time and again. Some ‘friendly’ player had changed the description and added something about it being private property. It is not. I live in this area -no the swing isn’t mine- so I should know.
Anyway, thanks for responding. I’ll wait on the official answer as well
