Public Indoor Pool keeps getting rejected

Dear Wayfarer Community

I need your help, again. This Wayspot keeps getting rejected and always for different reasons.

It’s an indoor swimming pool. With its own entrence and it’s also open to the public. I even photographed the opening hours and put them on the surrounding picture.
You can read everything about it on their website:
Hallenbad | Stadt Baunach Hallenbad | Stadt Baunach

The first time it got rejected was, because of “School property”
The second time, because of blurry/low quality picture and lacks uniqueness.

Are sport arenas no longer qualified wayspots?

  • Wayspot Title: Hallenbad Baunach
  • Location (lat/lon): 49.985463,10.848074
  • City: Baunach
  • Country: Germany

Can you help me and give any advice on how I can improve this nomination or should I just give up on it?

Thank you

It would be better to take a photo of the actual pool, not the entrance. Most pool photos are of the pool, including indoor pools, not the entrance door.

Germany has weird reviews. It’s more likely that they got weirded out by the supporting photo alone as collages are not something many people use.

I would not recommend to change the main photo, Hallenbad refers usually to a building with multiple indoor pools

Hast du schon einen Einspruch benutzt?

Moving this to nomination support as this is not a type of appeal that is handled in this forum, you can appeal your nomination in the contributions tab of the wayfarer website.

Nein, das habe ich noch nicht. Hab meine beiden Einsprüche schon verwendet und warte darauf das sie wieder “freugeschaltet” werden.

Ah okay. Thank you. I thought using a collage would help, because it gives me more opportunities to support my nomination.

I didn’t mean to discourage you from doing that, it can be helpful.

It’s just that there are uninformed reviewers out there, that think that this is not allowed in the worst case

Oh no no no, you didn’t. Dont worry.
From now on I’ll just explain it in the description that I’ve made a collage to improve my nomination. You actually gave me a really good advice.

Just another check up, it should not be in the description, it should be in the supporting information. Did you mean that?

I would recommend appealing. I have had a public pool at a leisure centre rejected for being unsafe before  reviewers don’tmuch like pools in my experience - I wonder if they are stuck in the days of when only a few pools were eligible instead of all public ones? Luckily the appeals team accepted it easily.

Yes, I meant that

I’ll do that. Thanks
