Propuse de wayspot la entrada del Archivo Nacional, ubicado en el eje central de Santiago de Chile. El lugar es público y de libre acceso. No me queda claro por qué lo rechazaron.

Welcome to the forums @Erikiwix!
You can appeal rejected nominations from your Contributions page. You only get 2 appeals, each with a 20-day timer until you can use it again, so I would recommend posting screenshots your nomination here for advice before using one up. Others can give their opinion if an appeal or resubmit would be the better option.
Additionally, if you view your submission on your Contributions page, there should be a reason for your rejection listed. Sometimes they are less than helpful however, and people here can try to help figure out why that reason might have been picked and suggest ways to counter that in your appeal or renomination.
Hello and welcome,
I checked Lightship, and there is already a Wayspot for the National Archives in Santiago:
So, I’m thinking your nomination was rejected as a duplicate. The entrance itself doesn’t seem to meet criteria, since there’s already a Wayspot for the entire building. But, if you think differently, please feel free to share screenshots of your nomination from Contribution Management and we can take a look.
Gracias!
I looked this up first on Google Maps using the title, ciry, and country, so I could get the lat/long. This Wayspot is at -33.442098, -70.645147, which is here on Google Maps (see dropped pin):
The National Library, for some odd reason, actually has 2 Wayspots, 1 at the south end and 1 at the north end. Here’s how all 3, including the archives building, look on the Lightship map:
