I am looking for reasons as to why my nomination was rejected.
Looks like AI rejection, maybe the first picture is too bright/blurry and the AI couldn’t pick up the plaque and just saw a white box
Hello and welcome,
Did your rejection email say “our team” rejected this, and did it happen within 24 hours of submitting? If so, this would be ML, the AI system, rejecting it.
I do agree that the main photo is quite blurry, but this alos appears to be on single family private residential property, or SFPRP, from Street View. SFPRP are ineligible locations, and this could also be why it was rejected by ML.
When making submission make sure the photo is in great shape. Blurry photo is one of rejection reason.
I am not sure whats the plague about. But if its on SFPRP, thats also ineligible
I would suggest wiping the lens.
The photo is very poor in this screenshot, I’m unclear what it is like as the proper photo.
I can make out what looks like an official logo and it does not look like single family Private residential property. There are very broad grass walking areas of public land.
As there is a clear view of the information board on streetview then your supplementary should also be much closer so that the board on streetview is identifiable as the close up of that board.
The supplementary info should focus on enabling the reviewers to check where it is and that it is safely accessible rather than more detailed information about the area. If this comes from a website then simply provide that link.
Thank you for the comments. I will try to get a better photo of the plaque, and supply better the position and accessibility info in my next attempt. The plaque is indeed on council property (grassed footpath beside the road) near to a power pole. The original picture is quite dull due to sunlight coming from behind me and playing on the plaque. I will endeavour to take these notes into account before trying to nominate the Wayspot again. Thanks!
