Hey guys, im tryna figure out why this was rejected,
Its in a safe area, right next to the road, people walk past this daily, taking their dogs for a walk or just for walks in general, I know its just rocks but its the only unique thing here
Greeting and welcome.
“It is a safe area” is an eligible criteria, not an “accept” criteria, which is one of main three thing:
A great place to explore
A great place to exercise
A great place to socializing
Can you submit your full submission, including title, main photo and description?
I think you answered your own question.
I am sorry but this doesnt mean it will automatically got acceptance. Feel free to look around again. Wayfarer is better when you dont focus on getting wayspot in certain spot.
Rocks can be found everywhere, especially used in landscaping like this in many areas. That’s really all that these rocks are being used for, so they don’t meet being a great place to be social/exercise/explore since you could find them in other places around the world.
Hi @Soayy
Maybe you’ve spotted the wrong stones. Are these on the opposite streetside still there?
That does look like an artwork on the other side, it’s not on the Ingress Intel map so probably not a wayspot.
Visible on both Bing and Google Satellite Views (53.72561, -9.00064), even if the StreetView car hasn’t been there for 15 years..
Couldn’t find out a thing about it online, looked at old maps of the site and there was never anything significant in that spot. Perhaps it has a plaque?
Yes that is alittle further ahead, I also submitted that rock formation as a waypoint, but both of them got rejected…..
Would you share screenshots of your full nomination for this second stone formation? Did you nominate it as art?
The Machine Learning system (eMiLy) rejected it.
The submission detail has a problem, which might be why it was auto-rejected. Your description and supporting are basically the same and they are both underwhelming. I can’t see the title to comment on.
It would be best if you can find out anything about this sculpture - who did it, why it was installed etc. Put links for this in the supporting information. If you can’t find anything, it is still eligible, but you need to find something to say about it - for example, say where it is, what it means to the area, how it improves the area.
There’s a chance the photo was rejected by eMiLy due to the amount of greenery, but that simply cannot be avoided, so hope it isn’t that.
I like this as a piece of art. I recommend resubmitting with a better description, better supporting information and a new photo. Even if the new photo is very similar to that one (which is a good one), it must be a new photo. Once eMiLy has rejected a submission, that photo will get auto-rejected even if the description is different.
If you want to write it up and then post the text here (but not the new photo) for advice, that’s fine. If you have a good write-up and then an auto-rejection, it would be worth appealing.
(The other rocks are not worth submitting - forget about them.)

“Arch Forms” by Mary Mc Ginty, 1996.
100% I would vote for that with the correct description and a citation in the supporting text.
I suggest you resubmit. It looks interesting. AI rejection sometime happen but its necesary to block low quality submission.
Thanks for sharing. The comments between yours and mine are reflecting perfectly what to do next. If you’re not aware: adding links to the supporting information is allowed and often highly suggested.
Good luck ![]()
