Rejected Normal Garden

Hi, everyone. I received a rejection for the Wayspot nominations below and am hopeful for some guidance moving forward.

APPEAL NOT ACCEPTED

2025-02-19

Appeal Notes

Unsure why this was not accepted and seeking guidance.

Niantic Note

Thanks for the appeal, Explorer! The nomination in question does not meet the Wayfarer criteria as it is a normal garden which seems to have no significance. If this assessment is not accurate, please resubmit the nomination with additional context. We recommend you review the Wayspot Criteria and Forum Criteria Discussions Library sections before submitting your next Wayspot contribution: https://niantic.helpshift.com/hc/en/21-wayfarer and Forum Criteria Discussions Library ā€” Wayfarer Help Center

Description

Located at the River House in downtown Fort Lauderdale, this garden can be accessed by foot along the Riverwalk.

Location

333 Las Olas Way, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301, USA

Supplemental Information

This is a safe and easily accessible wayspot with unique art to boot.

Hello,

I think having House in the description may be throwing ML, the AI system, off, thinking this is single family private residential property, PRP for short. I see that this is actually at the Las Olas River House Condominium complex, which has both condos as well as business space, so you may want to include the full name in the description, as well as that this is a condo complex, not PRP.

Iā€™m also not finding this on Street View, so it must be a newer addition. The supporting photo looks to show it near a driveway or sidewalk, so you may want to take a wider shot of the area of the garden to better place it in the area. I actually like the supporting photo more as a main photo, too, as it shows all of the rock garden, not just a part of it.

Great. Thank you for the insightful response. I will take a few new pictures and resubmit. The area is still partially under construction, so you are correct that it is a new addition!
