This morning I was walking in a park with some friends doing the daily incense. At some point I wanted to take some photos of a bird with a camera and I asked my brother to check my phone for any incense spawns, but he jokingly nominated a POI with the attached photo and some dumb description.
I’m checking both emails and wayfarer for half an hour and there’s nothing, and I’m growing worried this joke may have consequences on my account.
Would it be possible to entirely remove this false nomination?
There is a 24 hour window after submitting (either Upload Now or Upload Later) while the nomination is held, after which it gets reviewed by the ML system.
This should give enough time to withdraw the nomination.
Yeah I know, but since 30 minutes have passed and I got no email from Wayfarer and the nomination does not appear on the nominations list I’m kinda worried…
There is an ongoing issue with some nominations not showing up immediately:
Best case scenario, this was lost. Do keep checking so you can withdraw if it shows up. If it slips into voting without you noticing, you can ask help chat to reject it, but you should have the time cushion as @salixsorbus mentioned.
