When will be possible to withdraw a nomination that started to be voted?
It sometimes happens your nomination is not accurate, due to several factors, mainly in big cities or after a tiring gaming day.
When you check it after days, you realise something was really bad, but the voting process has already started.
Being able to withdraw at any time would be a great addition. So subsequent adjustments would not be necessary and the system would be lightened.
Welcome to the community! I think a Niantic employee can give you the specifics, but explorers who start to vote on nominations are expecting to get a potential % point toward their upgrade. So if your nomination is removed before completion, then some explorers could miss out.
I believe the only way to remove your nomination is to go to the Help section and go to the chat bubble and request the nomination to be removed… but not 100% sure.
I’ve looked for some answers, but there seems to be no solution.
Please I wish (I urge) I could find a way to block old proposals that may contain errors.
GPS may go wrong in some places and when nominating from home you may miss exact position, even checking phone-map.

We used to be able to withdraw nominations from “in voting” but that option was removed. It got added back at one point and silently removed, again.
Not sure which flip was a flop and any guidance has been “working as intended.”
When you submit a nomination, the final step of the process is to confirm all of the provided information is accurate. Aside from that, as suggested above, your only chance is to contact Niantic Wayfarer support via the chat bubble, but that will be at their discretion.
No way to withdraw a pending nomination, it seems.
