When submitting a Wayspot Appeal, make sure to include as much of the following information as possible:

  • Wayspot Title: Cruz De Salón Velatorio
  • Location (lat/lon): -17.77153318554826, -63.209447289658826
  • City: Santa Cruz de la Sierra
  • Country: Bolivia
  • Screenshot of the Rejection Email (do not include your personal information):
  • Additional Information (if any): Upon review, it appears that the Portal in question—Cruz de Salón Velatorio—is redundant, as the building it belongs to, Salón Velatorio Municipal D1, is already represented by an existing Portal. According to Wayfarer guidelines, a single Wayspot should represent a specific point of interest unless there are clearly distinct features or significant gameplay elements that justify additional Wayspots.

In this case, the cross is not a separate or unique point of interest but is instead part of the overall identity of the Salón Velatorio Municipal D1. Its primary purpose is directly tied to the building, which is already represented, making this Portal unnecessary.

Can you please make sure that you have already requested removal through normal process first and provide the screenshot of the rejection. Your requests will not be considered if you do not provide it.

How can I do that? I have to go there to that portal?

In ingress, you just need a dynamic link to report a portal from anywhere.

Or you can make a report through one of the forms linked at the top here if that doesn’t work.

However, imo, this cross is a separate point of interest. And I am in the US, so not part of this faction war.

@B4ndura It looks like we haven’t gotten to this request yet or it hasn’t been submitted through in-game. At this time, we only take appeals to overturn decisions we’ve already made.
