- Wayspot Title: Jungle Cruise Lemurs
- Location (lat/lon): 26.094882, -80.173761
- City: Fort Lauderdale, FL
- Country: United States
- Screenshot of the Rejection Email (do not include your personal information): I cannot get close enough to submit a removal request.
- Additional Information (if any): This Wayspot is not accessible by pedestrians (Jungle Queen is the business and only allows entering by their charter boat) and the lemur exhibit was removed after the COVID-19 pandemic, so the wayspot is no longer accurate.
It seems the coordinate is wrong. Its supposed to be 26. Anyway cant get close enough is not reason for rejection. It seems the area might be for paid customer. U have better chance if u can prove the place close down and no longer have that exhibit.
Anyway u dont have rejection email. I will let other answer this
Thanks for the correction. The exhibit is also no longer there.
“…the lemur exhibit was removed after the COVID-19 pandemic, so the wayspot is no longer accurate.”
You can either try help chat Niantic Wayfarer or one of the forms linked at the top here for removal requests you can’t make in game. Help chat is picky about what they will act on and will direct you to a form if you should have used that. I think I would use the form linked under “Wayspot Removals” to report this one. If you can’t see those links in the format you are using to access the forum, here it is:
Reporting a Wayspot — Wayfarer Help Center
I don’t like this form because the reasons you can select don’t normally match what I want to do, but just pick something, then explain when you get a text box. This will start an email chain, unlike help chat. Even if you say you are not the property owner, the acknowledgement email may ask for your credentials anyway, but do not reply to that one. Wait until you get an email from an individual before replying if they need more information.
Anyway we cant take your word as granted because u said it urself that you cant access the wayspot. Its a contradiction. How do you know the wayspot is gone if you cant access it? How do we know if you dont report it for other purpose. Its something you need to prove to help chat.
Your tone seems very pointed and your inference to conclude I’m contradicting myself isn’t logical. Just because I cannot get to a location does not mean I have no knowledge of such location. The animals being removed was posted in many news articles online.
I am sorry if you feel that way but every removal require evidence. Simply stating it is gone is not enough. Anyway those articles will be great evidence for help chat. Good luck with your removal request.
Hi, @schankesq! It looks like we haven’t gotten to this request yet or it hasn’t been submitted through in-game. At this time, we only take appeals to overturn decisions we’ve already made.
Okay. Thank you.
