Niantic Wayfarer should allow the removal of points of interest that are already up for voting. For example: I requested a place of interest to be turned into pokestops. When it went up for voting, another player had already requested it and it was approved. So the site should allow the cancellation of the evaluation request, because obviously, the evaluators will submit it as a “duplicate”.

I remember back when we were able to withdraw in voting nominations, and I did it for that same reason. I hate having a nomination taking up reviewers time that is just going to be a duplicate! We were discussing this here recently. At some point an update broke being able to do this and Niantic decided that not being able to withdraw from in voting was working as intended. I do hope they will bring back that ability.
