Removed location but still being rejected ! (Grange Park Cursor Sign)

  • Wayspot Title: Grange Park Cursor Sign

  • Location (lat/lon): 43°39’08.4"N 79°23’33.9"W

  • City: Toronto

  • Country: Canada

  • Screenshot of the Rejection Email (do not include your personal information):

  • Additional Information (if any): This item has been removed from this location, and should not be a pokestop any longer!

Looking at Google Maps, it’s difficult to ascertain as to what the Wayspot is and whether it no longer exists. Are you able to post what exists as a Wayspot and some evidence that it has been removed (mainly a photo of where it used to be)?

I found something with the same name at a slightly different spot
Grange Park Cursor Sign

Niantic will need some evidence that it is not there. I would take geo tagged photos from several angles or maybe a video to show there is nothing there. But I agree this looks very likely to have been temporary from the photo.

LOL I have scanned the location and submitted it but it was still rejected. The cursor sign is removed, it’s just a plain tree!!

In game scans don’t go to the Wayfarer team.

This tree has a distinctive shape to it. I would take a location tagged photo showing that lump with nothing attached to it and add it here.

Looking at what @cyndiepooh has posted, it shouldn’t have been accepted in the first place (in my opinion).

I’ll get some photos when i’m back there – thanks for the assistance!

If you share here a photo that shows the same tree with these recognizable things it would make easier for the Staff to remove it:

thanks - yeah I made sure I did that when I scanned it but knowing that doesn’t help is good (well, it’s good to know, not that scanning it doesn’t help haha)

Finally stopped by!

Do I need to post a whole new thread with this to have it removed? I’m not sure what next steps are!

Now you can only wait for niantics decision.
You posted your case in the right category with as much evidence as you have.

Thanks for the appeal, @iheartmuseums. After reviewing the additional evidence provided, we’ve decided to retire the Wayspot in question.
