Stepping back, limited location edits can be done in the games to the accurate location. These edits are voted on by the community so it helps if Google satellite and Street view are up to date.
If the location is drastically wrong you can use Help Chat with supporting evidence (geotagged photos, websites, etc).
On the other hand you could get yourself in trouble if you are editing a title or description to say something like ‘Choose the north most location by the trail’. This is considered abuse.
In the case of a change in both what and where something is, I believe that the recommendation is to request removal and then nominate the new thing at the (new) place.
