Request for Enhanced Green Zone in Biatorbágy – “Green Heart of Biatorbágy”

Hello Wayfarer Team, I would like to request consideration for enhancing and expanding the green zone representation in Pokémon GO in Biatorbágy, Hungary. The location in question is a central park situated next to the main road – locally known as “Biatorbágy Zöld Szíve” (The Green Heart of Biatorbágy). This park is a vital community space, offering shaded areas, benches, walking paths, and frequent foot traffic from locals and families. It also serves as an important ecological and recreational area in our town. Currently, the area lacks sufficient green biome designation in Pokémon GO, making it less attractive for players looking to enjoy the outdoors while participating in the game. Enhancing the park with a darker green biome would better reflect its actual environment and encourage community engagement through exploration and outdoor activity. Coordinates (approximate): 📍 Biatorbágy, near the Main Road (Fő utca), Hungary I kindly ask for your consideration in updating this area to reflect its real-world greenery and importance to the local community. Thank you for your time and for supporting community-oriented gameplay. Best regards, DudiTheBurkman

Hello and welcome to the forum.

I’m not sure if there is any way for players to prompt a change of the type you are requesting for Pokemon Go.

I believe the green ‘park’ biome indicates a reflection of data from the Open Source Map project, and The Company does not pull updates very frequently.

Your best bet would be to learn how to make the update in OSM, and make your legitimate edits there. But you will have to wait an indeterminate length of time for the game people to re-sync and include your changes.

Hello @dudliduu

Do find out about Open Street Map. The community there can help you find out about updating that map.
As @eneeoh has said updates from Open Street Map to the game map have been at irregular intervals.
Unfortunately Wayfarer can’t help, so I will close this topic.
Good luck with updating
