[Resolved] Wayfinder Rating Incident

Hi!! So, this was already solved and If someone has poor rating is not because of this issue? :eyes: Because I have a friend who yesterday show me his rating down to “in the middle” (“en la media” in Spanish… idk in English) and we don’t know if this is just for disagrees :scream:

This is what Niantic staff had to say about rating:

It takes time for any new reviewer to earn the higher ratings. You generally start out at fair, and it goes up when you get “agreements” agreements only happen when a nomination finishes reviewing.
Let’s say you review 100 wayspots. Maybe you’re the last vote on 5 of them. And if you agreed with the other reviewers on those 5, you have 5% agreements which is pretty low. A week later 75 of them have been decided and you agreed with 50 of those. Your agreement % is still only 50% even though you were in line with the community on 2/3 of the ones decided. It might take months for all 100 to resolve, and only then will your agreement % be accurate.

An update on the situation, we are still actively working on the agreements compensation. Unfortunately as the team will be attending GO Fest New York in the coming days, we don’t expect a resolution until next week.

We have run the first step agreements reimbursements. The impacted users should be able to see the games medal count updated early next week.
