First, I appeased them in chat to try to correct it because this portal was in another wrong location.
However, this portal was removed as it did not meet the criteria.
However, this portal is a unique clock that exists only here and has been on display and accessible to all.
So, please remove the deletion.

I would suggest adding some photos as the coordinates won’t show in the building of that location. It appears to be a building or inner courtyard. If you can submit some geotagged photos or something showing the area and the wayspot that might help those reviewing your appeal

Are you talking about the picture of a clock among the other pictures or a real clock. If it’s the picture of a clock, the full wall of pictures/posters is already a wayspot (Benesse Kids Wallart).

This clock was installed in 2013 when the surrounding plaza was built.
It is an actual working clock, with characters moving around the clock and a sound every hour.
You can also check the time on Street View. It is hidden under the red arrow in the screenshot you posted.
Initially thought it looked like a childcare centre. Childcare centres are not eligible even if you can see the clock on the outside.
But actually appears to be a school for kids, which would not be eligible.

As you can see from the exterior and address visible from the URL you posted, the facility is located next to this building and this clock is present in the building where the security guards and Benesse employees are packed.
You’re right! It is a school. So the “clock” in question would be part of the full wall art already in the database. However it seems it too should be removed because it’s part of a school for children.
Oh yes. I did not check to see if there were other portals there. I am sure Niantic will look at the information for the OP and advise further. However, that is likely why the wayspot was removed. If it was in the wrong location and the corrected location was at or within school boundaries it would no longer meet the criteria.
Thanks for the appeal @valnycel We have taken another look but stand by our decision to retire the Wayspot.
